What is Cirqla made from?
Cirqla is made with ECONYL® regenerated nylon, a high-quality fibre created from waste materials such as discarded fishing nets, textile scraps and industrial plastic.
Through an innovative regeneration process, these materials are transformed into a premium travel jersey that offers the quality, performance and comfort you have come to expect from Japan TKY.
Is Cirqla still a travel fabric?
Yes. Cirqla is a circular travel fabric that retains all the qualities that make our signature travel jersey so popular. It is lightweight, comfortable and wrinkle-resistant, with excellent stretch and a smooth feel.
The difference lies in its more circular, recycled-material foundation — not in the comfort or performance of the fabric.
How is Cirqla different from your current travel fabric?
The main difference lies in the composition of the fabric. Cirqla is developed using ECONYL® regenerated nylon, while maintaining the comfort, luxurious appearance and performance of our signature travel fabric.
This allows us to combine the quality Japan TKY is known for with a more circular approach to materials.
Is Cirqla wrinkle-resistant?

In addition, fabric offcuts from our own production process are returned to our fabric supplier, where they can be processed into new yarns. In this way, Cirqla combines the comfort and performance associated with Japan TKY travel jersey with a more considered approach to materials and their life cycle.
